Digital Learning Tools
Digital Learning is an instructional practice that ultimately helps students. It makes use of a broad range of technology-enhanced educational strategies. It includes various learning modalities including face-to-face, virtual, blended, hybrid, flipped, personalized, and other instructional strategies that rely on digital learning tools. Digital Learning Tools includes any program, app, or technology that can be accessed via an internet connection. Howard University’s Digital Learning Infrastructure consists of a variety of digital learning tools, including Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI). LTI is an education technology specification developed by the IMS Global Learning Consortium. It specifies a method for a learning system to invoke and to communicate with external systems.
